Rudolph: A Tale of Courage is a short film I did back in 2019.

This project is deeply personal to me. It helped me confront and exorcize one of my greatest fears at the time: accepting my sexuality. Rudolph became a vessel for my anxieties and inner conflicts, allowing me to process them through storytelling.

Looking back, there are certainly things I would approach differently in terms of execution, but I remain immensely proud of what I created and of the honesty that drove it.

I still carry many of the concepts I developed back when this project was intended to be a longer piece, originally titled The Adventures of Headless Rudolph.

In that version, after the arrival of a new angel ornament, Rudolph is expelled from his Christmas Tree community for being gay. Thrown out and broken from the fall, he loses his head, literally, and must now embark on a journey of self-discovery, piecing himself back together in every sense of the word.
